That’s right, etherf@rm turns one year old today. A lot has happened to both me and the site in the last year, and I’d probably implode trying to remember it all, so let me just say this: thanks to etherf@rmers everywhere for stoppin’ by. Truly…thanks.
I have big goals for etherf@rm’s second year. Probably another redesign of the f@rm, a refocusing and reconfiguring of Thalamus, and (yeah, I know) finishing the heart, lungs, and hands sections, for starters. I need to till the f@rm’s soil for all that I’ve got going on this year personally—a wedding, my qualifying exams, and all those fish to catch and photos to take.
Some first anniversary stats? The Movable Type system at etherfarm.com has 901 entries and 1283 comments (keep in mind this also includes Thalamus). I installed a site statistics script last March, and between the install and today it claims there have been 26,003 visits and 63,118 page views. I don’t really know what these numbers mean, if they mean anything at all, but the fact that they’re greater than “1” makes me feel warm and fuzzy. The fact that they’re greater than “1.5” makes me feel positively loved.

Again, thanks to those of you who stop by, comment, email, and link to etherf@rm from your own sites. While planting, feeding, and cultivating this site is definitely a labor of love, it’s definitely gratifying to share the harvest.
