Happy Birthdays

14:27 on Tuesday, January 06, 2004 • 10 responses

A quick happy-birthday-to-me. I turn 31 today, and I don’t feel a day over 45. Yay for that.

Etherfarm turns 2 years old on January 23. Imagine that. If I could squeeze the cheekflesh of this site and say to it, “you’re getting so big,” I would. I doubt my hosting service would let me do that, though. Might harm the server.

Thanks again to everyone who has kept the site interesting for me. You know who you are. And a perhaps much-overdue ‘thank you’ to everyone in my corporeal life who has kept my existence interesting. You, too, know who you are.

Proof of age, without a birth certificate, is the archives sidebar.  I clicked on Jan 2002.  Who else remembers anatomical parts?  Res, sez:
“click on the eye in the navbar. [ so tempted to Òtee heeÓ but wonÕt ] p.s. not much there yet, but the system is in place for adding stuff easilyÉ.

Design people are never happy getting it good the first time.  On the other hand, consistency and freedom from change lures the petty mind.  Anyway, I dug up a cite for the site, and wish for more good years.

Congratulations and happy birthday! Do web sites like birthday cake? No matter, I’ll eat it all for ya.

Thanks, everyone. 31 is off to a good start, though more dancing elephants at my birthday dinner would have been nice. wink

It’s sites like this that shine like a myriad of jewels in the desolate wasteland that is the ‘net. Congrats on making it to 2 years, and continuing the inspiring work. cheers smile
