Crunchy Tuna

I suppose you could think of this recipe as fish granola. I just think of it as delicious.

  • fresh tuna
  • egg whites
  • chopped macadamia nuts
  • sliced plaintains
  • canola oil
  • salt and pepper
  1. Fry plaintain slices until golden brown. Let cooked slices drain on a paper towel.
  2. Salt and pepper tuna steaks.
  3. Roll in egg whites.
  4. Roll in macademia nuts.
  5. Sear in pan for just a few minutes…serve rare with plaintain slices.
