I’m a thirty-something-year old currently residing in Redwood City, California. During the day, I manage a user experience design team for a large software company. I live with my wonderful and witty wife, my son and my daughter. In addition to the activities made obvious by the content of this site, I like to flyfish, design and make furniture, backpack, and bicycle.
I’m relatively active online, though really, I’d much rather be doing something productive with my life. I’m on:
And here’s the rest of the pith one expects to find when visiting pages such as this:
- The west coast will never seem like home to me. The people are too flakey and too ingenuine. Yeah, the weather is nice and the landscape is beautiful, but I’m sick of hearing west coasters bitch when it gets below 65°F or above 82°F. I’m tired of hearing people wonder aloud why anyone in their right minds would live elsewhere. I’m tired of how they refer to the middle of the country as flyover territory. And more than anything, even though the politics by and and large are closer to my own, I’m tired of being surrounded by the Rush Limbaughs of the political left.
- I miss Chicago pizza, please send me some. The real stuff. From Uno’s. None of that Gino’s crap.
- I wonder why the world doesn’t try harder.
- If I could be another person for a day, I’d probably choose to be one of my former professors. But only for a day, and only under the condition that I wouldn’t have to grade papers or attend department meetings.
- I’d be perfectly happy living in a tent, but only if it had broadband and I could bring my Mac.
